In Hoagland is an album by Georgie Fame, Annie Ross and Hoagy Carmichael, featuring a band of leading UK jazz musicians and arrangements by Harry South. Originally released under the title In Hoagland '81, it was recorded in London and released in June 1981, just a few months before Carmichael died in December of that year. Track listing

Georgie Fame nel 2009. Tornato al jazz, nel 1981 Fame collaborò con la cantante Annie Ross nell'album In Hoagland che riprendeva le musiche di Hoagy Carmichael, e due anni dopo con Sylvia Vrethammar, in un tributo a Benny Goodman, In Goodmanland. Nel 1989 fu la volta di A Portrait of Chet, dedicato a Chet Baker [2].

Georgie Fame (born Clive Powell; 26 June 1943) is an English R&B and jazz musician. Fame, who had a string of 1960s hits, is still performing, often working with contemporaries such as Alan Price, Van Morrison and Bill Wyman.
