Inara Maryland George (born July 4, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter and musician, one half of The Bird and the Bee, a member of the band Merrick, with Bryony Atkinson, and a member of the trio The Living Sisters, with Eleni Mandell and Becky Stark.
Biografia. Nata nel Maryland ma cresciuta in California, è figlia di Lowell George, polistrumentista e cantautore, frontman del gruppo rock anni '70 Little Feat . Fa parte del duo indie pop The Bird and the Bee insieme al polistrumentista e produttore Greg Kurstin. Il duo ha esordito nel 2006.
