26 apr 2022 · Ingeborg Mstislavna of Kiev (fl. 1137) was a Russian princess, married to the Danish prince Canute Lavard of Jutland. She was the daughter of grand prince Mstislav I of Kiev and Christina Ingesdotter of Sweden and was in about 1116 married to Canute in a marriage arranged by her maternal aunt, the Danish queen Margaret Fredkulla.

She was the daughter of Grand Prince Mstislav I of Kiev and Christina Ingesdotter of Sweden and was in about 1117 married to Canute in a marriage arranged by her maternal aunt, the Danish queen Margaret Fredkulla.
17 apr 2024 · It is not known when Ingeborg was born. She seems to have been one of the older children of Mstislav I, Grand Prince of Kyiv, and his first wife, Christina Ingesdotter of Sweden. Her parents married between 1090 and 1096, and Ingeborg married around 1115-1117, so she is thought to have been born around 1097-1102.
Valdemar's father was murdered by King Magnus I of Sweden days before the birth of Valdemar; his mother, Ingeborg of Kiev, daughter of Grand Prince Mstislav I of Kiev and Christina Ingesdotter of Sweden, named him after her grandfather, Grand Prince Vladimir Monomakh of Kiev.

When Ingeborg Mstislavsdatter of Kiev was born in 1099, in Kyiv, Kiev, Kiev, Russian Empire, her father, Prince Mstislav Kiev, was 23 and her mother, Christina Ingesdotter Princess of Sweden, was 24. She married Sankt Knud Lavard Hertug af Sønderjylland, in 1116.
