At first I hesitated if I should include Ingrid Ylva, since not much is known about her, but she is an important figure in Swedish History, since her descendants helped shaped Sweden into the Country it is today. She is also representative for what noblewomen did.

Ingrid Ylva Birgitta Källström-Eklund, (Stoccolma 4 marzo 1933 – Uppsala 17 aprile 1988) è stata una illustratrice svedese di libri per bambini, libri di canzoni, libri di cucina e guide turistiche per bambini.
Ylva Källström-Eklund studied machines in roadworks and ordered catalogues. Her stories were filled with reality, but with a twist of humour and graphic delight; a joyous rhythm that was all her own. Dumper-trucks, caterpillars and excavators have probably never appeared happier than in her illustrations.
