15 set 2019 · Nirvana - Into the Black [Bootleg Compilation] A 6xCD compilation released early after Kurt Cobain's death, Into The Black aggregates demos, notable live shows, and rarities into one fancy set. (I don't have CD 6, sorry, and I will add it as soon as possible if I ever find it.)
The lyrics of the song, particularly the line "out of the blue and into the black", are an epigraph and are also featured prominently in Stephen King's novel It. The line, "It's better to burn out than to fade away", was included in Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's suicide note in 1994.

Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Founded by lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic, the band went through a succession of drummers, most notably Chad Channing, before recruiting Dave Grohl in 1990.
