5/10. 'Island Of Love' a.k.a 'Not On Your Life'. nickgio 2 June 2008. It was on Channel 9 HD channel in Australia late night on Tue 2 June '08. Obviously a very rare screening of an odd little film. It's the worst performance I've ever seen from Tony Randall & Walter Matthau and that's saying something.
The film was released by Warner Bros. on June 12, 1963. Plot Steve Blair, always on the lookout for a new money-making scheme, spots a stripper of his acquaintance, Cha Cha Miller, at a Greek restaurant in New York, then overhears her gangster boyfriend Tony Dallas say how somebody should make a wholesome movie about Adam and Eve .
