19 apr 2017 · ROBERTS: The irony here is that Mike sold me on doing It’ll End In Tears by mentioning Howard Devoto. While I revere both Buzzcocks and Magazine, the man has no business singing “Holocaust,” another epic Alex Chilton-penned elegy from Big Star’s 3rd (1975), especially with Elizabeth Fraser and Gordon Sharp incarnating the album’s title with each vocalization.
