Scultore inglese (New York 1880 - Londra 1959) di origine russo-polacca. Studiò a Parigi dal 1902 al 1906. Stabilitosi nel 1906 a Londra, si dedicò alla scultura monumentale e decorativa. Nel 1909 eseguiva la tomba di Oscar Wilde. Nel 1912 conobbe, a Parigi, Brancusi e Modigliani. Fu allora influenzato dall'arte africana.
