Biografia. Dal 1981 è a capo del Goddard Institute for Space Studies della NASA nella città di New York, un istituto facente parte del dipartimento di scienze della terra del Goddard Space Flight Center di Greenbelt, nel Maryland ( Stati Uniti ). Inoltre è un professore del Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences della Columbia University .

26 giu 2018 · “Thirty years ago this month, James Hansen warned that the planet was warming, and would continue to do so.” This wasn’t what happened. The warming stopped for a good portion of these last 30 years. Some have even said that the warming trend reversed a bit. His predictions and models were admittedly incorrect.
