Stereo Embers has learned that drummer Jason Mackenroth, who provided the muscular backbeat for the Rollins Band has died. He was 46. The Sacramento native was the co-founder of the Los Angeles-based power pop trio Mother Superior, who had two of their albums produced by Rollins himself.
