Jason Edward Mewes (Highlands, New Jersey, SAD, 12. lipnja 1974. ) američki je televizijski i filmski glumac poznat po ulogama dilera droge Jayja, koji zajedno s partnerom Silent Bobom (kojeg glumi Kevin Smith ) glumi zabavan dvojac "Jay i Silent (Tihi) Bob", u nizu filmova koje je režirao Kevin Smith, prijatelj Jasona Mewesa iz djetinjstva.
Jason Edward Mewes is an American television and film actor best known for playing Jay, the vocal half of the duo Jay and Silent Bob, in longtime friend Kevin Smith's films.
Mewes also began working as a voice actor in several animated projects, including "Noah's Ark: The Beginning" (2008), which amusingly cast him as Ham, one of Noah's wayward sons.In 2008, Mewes and Smith were reunited for "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," the second of the director's comedies to step away from the world established in "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy."
