Joe Mantello (2014) Joseph „Joe“ Mantello (* 27.Dezember 1962 in Rockford, Illinois) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Theaterregisseur.Er ist insbesondere für seine Inszenierung der Musicals Wicked, Take Me Out und Assassins bekannt.
Joe Mantello est né à Rockford, dans l' Illinois. Il est le fils de Judy et Richard Mantello, tous deux possédant des origines italiennes, et il a grandi dans une famille catholique. Mantello a étudié à la North Carolina School of the Arts. Il a fondé le Edge Theatre à New York avec l'actrice Mary-Louise Parker et l'écrivain Peter Hedges.
