Mark Cherone. Joe Pessia. Dana Spellman. Hurtsmile is a band fronted by Extreme singer Gary Cherone . Cherone started the project in 2007 with his brother Mark and Joe Pessia. Some demos were released on the internet, but plans for an album were put on hold once plans for the eventual Extreme reunion emerged.
Former Tantric guitarist and Dramagods bassist Joe Pessia splits his time between two new bands these days. Joe just completed work on the second Hurtsmile release with Gary Cherone (Extreme/VanHalen), and is also wrapping up a new CD with Badger, a project with Pat Badger of Extreme fame.
