John Jay McCloy (March 31, 1895 – March 11, 1989) was an American lawyer, diplomat, banker, and presidential advisor. He served as Assistant Secretary of War during World War II under Henry Stimson. In this capacity he dealt with German sabotage and political tensions in the North Africa Campaign.

John Jay McCloy (* 31. März 1895 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; † 11. März 1989 in Stamford, Connecticut) war ein US-amerikanischer Jurist, Politiker und Bankier. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges war er Unterstaatssekretär im US-Kriegsministerium. Von 1947 bis 1949 war er Präsident der Weltbank.
