  1. 29 apr 2024 · John Pascoe Fawkner (1792-1869), pioneer, was born on 20 October 1792 at Cripplegate, London, the son of John Fawkner, a metal refiner, and Hannah, née Pascoe. His father was convicted of receiving stolen goods and in 1801 was sentenced to fourteen years transportation.

No idea if any of the original stuff will remain. Side note : John Pascoe Fawkner built his first house in 1835 on what would later become this site. First photo wikimedia.
