Jonathan Lippman (born May 19, 1945) is an American jurist who served as Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals from 2009 through 2015. He is currently Of Counsel in the Litigation & Trial Department of Latham & Watkins’ New York office.

Judge Jonathan Lippman, of counsel in our New York office, was recently honored for his commitment to public service. He was named to the Law Power 100 List, an annual ranking of notables in the legal industry in the New York City area, and received the Justice Innovation Lifetime Achievement Award from the Center for Court Innovation.
