In Journey into Light Hayden interpreta un pastore della East Coast che scivola nell’alcolismo e diventa un vagabondo. La sua deriva esistenziale lo porta a Los Angeles tra i senzatetto e nelle celle per ubriachi, ma anche alla ‘Midnight Mission’ del predicatore di strada ‘Doc’ Thorssen e infine alla redenzione.
