Jule Styne (/ ˈ dʒ uː l i / JOO-lee; born Julius Kerwin Stein; December 31, 1905 – September 20, 1994) was an English-American songwriter and composer widely known for a series of Broadway musicals, including several famous frequently-revived shows that also became successful films: Gypsy, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Funny Girl.
Jule Styne (nato Julius Kerwin Stein; Londra, 31 dicembre 1905 – Manhattan, 20 settembre 1994) è stato un musicista e compositore britannico naturalizzato statunitense. He is an Inductee in The Songwriters' Hall of Fame and the Theater Hall of Fame, and is the proud owner of two Grammy awards, a Tony award, an Oscar, an Emmy, the Donaldson Award and The Drama Critics Circle Award. Jule Styne died in 1994 in New York City.
