5 giorni fa · The same bias in this country denigrates St. Junípero Serra and his work in the California missions. Granted, there were abuses and the motives of the Spanish were often not pure. That said, Christianity received its mandate to “go and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:20) from the Son of God Himself and has no reason to apologize for bringing his Good News to all peoples.
2 giorni fa · At Junípero Serra High School, he struggled but persisted and made it to his team’s starting lineup and played till he graduated in 1995. The University of Michigan chose Brady among others and his stay in the college playing for the Michigan Wolverine seemed like a dream come true.
