19 set 2002 · Overview. Set in 70s Hong Kong, Just One Look actually tells of Fan (Shawn Yu), whose policeman father commits suicide in a cinema toilet, but Fan believes he was murdered by a gangster nicknamed 'Crazy' (Anthony Wong). Ten years later Fan contemplates avenging his father's death.
As a small boy, Fan (Yu) adores his policeman father (a cameo by Sam Lee) and enjoys frequent trips to the cinema with him to watch the latest blockbuster. One evening, Fan’s father disappears during the film and is found dead in the toilets, a tragedy that the youngster blames on local thug Crazy (Wong).
