Justine Elinor Frischmann (born 16 September 1969) is an English artist and retired musician. She was the lead singer of the Britpop band Elastica after forming Suede, before retiring from the music industry and pursuing a career as an artist.

La band si forma agli inizi degli anni ’90, più precisamente nel 1992, grazie appunto all’iniziativa di Justine Frischmann, già componente dei Suede, e di Justin Welch, a sua volta ex batterista di Suede e Spitfire. In breve tempo, a loro si aggiungono la bassista Annie Holland e la chitarrista Donna Matthews.
