Kathleen Man Gyllenhaal (born Kathleen Kwai Ching Man; 1974) is an American filmmaker from Hawaii . Education. Man Gyllenhaal graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film studies and received her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa. [1] .

After graduating from Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kathleen earned a B.A. in Film Studies from Yale with honors and distinction, winning the Yale Film Prize for her essay on feminist film.
