6 ott 2022 · Although Robert Clyde Crosby was born in upstate New York, upon relocating to Austin, Texas in the early 70s, he changed his name to Jerry Jeff Walker. That was the beginning of becoming a prominent artist whose edgy approach was newly tagged as “outlaw” or “cosmic cowboy” music. When Walker passed in 2020, his reputation was legendary.

It's About Time is a progressive country album by Jerry Jeff Walker. Recorded after Walker's battle with throat cancer, it is the final album released before the singer-songwriter's death in 2020. Walker released the album exclusively on his website through his independent record label, Tried & True Music.

In the nineties he operated Music Cellar studios in Colorado where Chuck Pyle’s “Keepin’ Time By The River” was recorded. Jerry Jeff Walker, Jennifer Warnes and several of Jackson Brown’s band joined the project. Rudy has since recorded his own songs and has two CD’s available, “Places” and “Undiscovered”.
