Keith Christopher (April 27, 1957 – February 23, 1998) [1] was an American actor, singer-songwriter and AIDS activist. [2] Biography. Early years (1980–1985) In 1980, Dan Baird (former guitarist for the Atlanta band the Nasty Bucks), lead guitarist Rick Richards, bassist Keith Christopher, and drummer David Michaelson formed a band named Keith and the Satellites in Atlanta, Georgia. After performing in local bars, the band's line-up changed.
