Nigel Kim Darroch, Baron Darroch of Kew, KCMG (/ ˈ d æ r ə k /; born 30 April 1954) is a former British diplomat. He served as the British Ambassador to the United States between January 2016 and December 2019, and previously as National Security Adviser and UK Permanent Representative to the European Union .
