駒澤大学 （こまざわ だいがく、 英語: Komazawa University ）は、 東京都 世田谷区 駒沢 に本部を置く 日本 の 私立大学 。 1592年 創立。 1925年 大学設置。 旧制大学 の一つ。 略称は 駒澤 、 駒大（ こまだい ） 。 「澤」が 旧字体 のため、 報道 などでは「駒沢」と 新字体 で表記されることもある。 日本の仏教 宗派の一つである 曹洞宗 が 1592年 に設立した 吉祥寺 の学寮（吉祥寺会下学寮）を起源とする 旃檀林 （1657年命名）が発展した 大学 である。 概説 [ 編集] 日本における曹洞宗の開祖 道元. 建学の理念 [ 編集] 仏教 の教えと「 禅 」の精神を建学の理念を教育・研究の基本とする大学である [1] 。
