Nathaniel Thomas Wilson (born July 20, 1968), better known by his stage name Kool G Rap (or simply G Rap), is an American rapper. He began his career in the mid-1980s as one half of the group Kool G Rap & DJ Polo and as a member of the Juice Crew.
Kool G Rap è unanimemente ritenuto uno dei padri dell'hip hop, al pari di Rakim o Chuck D. È considerato il primo MC ad avere fatto del suo punto forte le cosiddette "multisyllabic rhymes", grazie alle quali ottimizzava gli incastri scandendo più rime in sincronia nello stesso verso metrico.
