KAFA is Korea’s top educational film institution, having produced over 700 prominent film-industry talents, including leading Korean directors such as Bong Joon-ho (11thgraduate class), who won both he Academy Award for Best Director and the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
KOFIC is a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the ROK government established to enhance the quality of Korean films and promote the film industry in accordance with the Promotion of the Motion Pictures and Video Products Act Article 4. in our daily lives.
Korean Academy of Film Arts FUND. The KAFA Development Fund Foundation was established in 2006 to contribute to the institute’s growth and development.
