Johnson High School Grades 9-12. Welcome to the home of the Claudia Taylor ‘Lady Bird’ Johnson Jaguars where we focus on preparing our students to be successful in high school and in their future endeavors. CTJ’s goal is to guide our students towards self-advocacy during these transitional years.

After graduating from high school in May 1928, Lady Bird entered the University of Alabama for the summer session, where she took her first journalism course. But, homesick for Texas, she stayed home and did not return for the fall term at Alabama.
After one year at Southside HS, I moved to Churchill HS to rejoin NEISD. In 2009, I became an assistant principal at Lee High School and in 2012, I was named the principal of Bush Middle School. For the past four years, I have been the proud principal at the best high school in San Antonio, Claudia Taylor “Lady Bird” Johnson HS.
