The most significant function of a school is to teach, build and nurture young leaders. This remains a primary goal at Lakefield. Learning is laced with technological adornment. Classes from years 1 to 12 have interactive boards, which enable teachers to teach with slides, graphics, and other audio-visual qualities.
Life at Lakefield College School is as unique as you are. Founded in 1879, LCS offers co-educational boarding and day school (Grades 9 to 12) to a global community of engaged and active students.
At Lakefield College School, moral strength is as important as academic achievement and athletic prowess. Students flourish under the guidance of residential heads of house, teachers, coaches and advisors. The school’s focus on leadership is formalized in its Leadership, Character, Values program (LCV).
We respectfully acknowledge that Lakefield College School is located on the Treaty 20 Michi Saagiig territory and in the traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.
