Lars Jansson (born 1951) is a Swedish jazz pianist and composer. [1] Life. Jansson grew up in Örebro, Sweden, where he was bored by his lessons at the community music school. In his early teens, a relative lent him records of Miles Davis, Ben Webster, and Mose Allison.

Nel 1970, dopo il diploma alla scuola secondaria superiore, si é formato al Göteborg College of Music, dove ha avuto l’opportunità di suonare con i più grandi nomi del jazz: Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett e tanti altri.
Lars Jansson is a jazz pianist, composer, arranger and educator. His trio has long been one of the most renowned jazz groups in Sweden. In 1998, Lars was nominated to the Danish Jazzpar Prize and he. became the first jazz professor in Aarhus, Denmark. He was honored in Denmark with a Grammy in 2001.

Lars Jansson. Swedish musician, composer, arranger, pianist and educator, born 25 February 1951 in Örebro. He grew up in Örebro but now lives in Ljungskile. The drummer Paul Svanberg is his son.
