Laura is a 1944 American film noir produced and directed by Otto Preminger. It stars Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, and Clifton Webb along with Vincent Price and Judith Anderson. The screenplay by Jay Dratler, Samuel Hoffenstein, and Betty Reinhardt is based on the 1943 novel Laura by Vera Caspary.

Laura è una bellissima ragazza che adesca uomini in un bar. Li fa bere, li droga e poi li deruba. Un giorno però ne trova uno che non sta al gioco, un vecchio uomo psicotico che non si arrenderà mai nel volerla sua, la perseguiterà fino ad ucciderle la madre e ad essere lui stesso ucciso dalla stessa Laura.
