La protagonista della serie televisiva Legacies è Hope Mikaelson. In questa giovane sono racchiusi i poteri di tre creature sovrannaturali: licantropo (lupo mannaro), vampira e strega. È la figlia di Klaus, un vampiro, e di Hayley Marshall, una licantropa.
Ambientata al Collegio Salvatore per giovani dotati, LEGACIES narra le vicende della nuova generazione di esseri soprannaturali, alle prese col capire cosa significhi essere speciali in un mondo ignaro. Nella prima stagione, Hope Mikaelson ha rinunciato al proprio posto a scuola, e al mondo, per proteggere Landon da un terribile destino.
