Legend of the White Horse (original title: Biały smok) is a 1987 Polish-American adventure children's film directed by Jerzy Domaradzki and Janusz Morgenstern, based on the magic realism novel White Horse, Dark Dragon by Robert C. Fleet, who also wrote the screenplay.

The Legend of the White Horse (1986) is a Polish-American children's film and follows the adventures of Alta and her daughter Jewel, who is blind. Jewel's friend is a white horse. An American geologist and his son meet Jewel, when they travel to Europe to the fictional country of Karistan, on an expedition exploring the environment.
The film slings together a series of vague plot elements. Christopher Lloyd is a decent dad working for a Sinister Corporation. He is sent to survey a peaceful (but superstitious) backwoods Europe region.
