Blatty’s “Legion” Novel Questions. Discussion. Just finished reading Blatty’s “Legion” novel - and while I immensely enjoyed it, it has definitely left me with serious questions!! SPOILERS BTW: What was the point of Kinderman confronting Temple about his involvement in the original Gemini murders?
•Legion didn't feel so much like a sequel to the Exorcist as it did a sequel to its own self given the framing of the story with the Gemini being "long dead." Although I would have loved to read Exorcist II: Electric Boogaloo, I really enjoyed the different direction this novel took. I didn't expect it at all.

6 giorni fa · Already standing out like a sore thumb amongst efforts using The Exorcist name (not even the plain prequel(s) could lessen the blow) The Heretic also lingers as the unwanted sequel from the creator of the original story, author William Peter Blatty. His sequel to the novel, titled ‘Legion’, was eventually made for the screen in 1990.
