Leslie Hore-Belisha, 1st Baron Hore-Belisha, PC (/ ˈ h ɔːr b ə ˈ l iː ʃ ə /; né Isaac Leslie Belisha; 7 September 1893 – 16 February 1957) was a British Liberal, then National Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) and Cabinet Minister. He later joined the Conservative Party.
Biografia. Divenuto deputato nel 1923, fu sottosegretario al Commercio nel 1931 e al Tesoro nel 1932; nel luglio 1934 fu nominato ministro dei Trasporti e mantenne la carica fino al maggio 1937.
Uomo politico inglese (Londra 1895 - Reims 1957); conservatore, deputato dal 1923, ministro dei Trasporti (1934-37), poi della Guerra (1937-40); dopo il periodo delle sanzioni economiche contro l'Italia fascista per la guerra d'Etiopia iniziò a Roma i contatti diplomatici tendenti a un riavvicinamento anglo-italiano.
