Sergey Ursulyak was born on 10 June 1958 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka Oblast, RSFSR, USSR [now Kamchatka Krai, Russia]. He is a director and writer, known for Letnie lyudi (1995), Liquidation (2007) and Life and Fate (2012). He is married to Galina Nadirli. They have one child.
