The school system in Lincoln is anomalous within Lincolnshire despite being part of the same local education authority (LEA), as most of the county retained the grammar-school system.
5 giorni fa · The boys, who were to be dressed in the blue uniform of Christ's Hospital, London, were to stay in the school between the ages of 10 and 16; the corporation decided to admit only sons of freemen. The endowment was received in 1668 and laid out on several farms in Awre and Lydney, and the school was started the same year.
