Louis-Philippe, Crown Prince of Belgium (Louis Philippe Léopold Victor Ernest; 24 July 1833 – 16 May 1834), was the eldest child and heir-apparent of King Leopold I of the Belgians and his second wife, Princess Louise of Orléans . Life. Louis-Philippe became crown prince at birth in Laeken.
On 3 July 2013, King Albert II announced his abdication. On the National Day, which follows a few weeks later, Prince Philippe took the oath and became the seventh King of the Belgians. His daughter Elisabeth, who turned 22 on 25 October 2023, is now first in line to the throne.

Louis Philippe, Crown Prince of Belgium (24 July 1833 – 16 May 1834) was the first-born child and heir-apparent of Leopold I of Belgium and his second wife, Princess Louise d'Orléans. He died in Laeken before his first birthday of an inflammation of the mucous membranes, and was buried in the royal crypt of the Church of Our Lady of Laeken.
