Madeleine Nalini Sami is a New Zealand actor, director, comedian and musician. She started her acting career in theatre before moving to television, where she created, co-wrote, and starred in Super City.
As an actor Madeleine has starred in 'Sione's Wedding' and 'Sione's Wedding Two', Taika Waititi's 'Eagle vs Shark' and 'What We Do in The Shadows', and most recently in the western 'Slow West'. She has numerous TV acting credits including 'Outrageous fortune', 'The Jaquie Brown Diaries' and Jane Campion's series, 'Top of the Lake'.
