9 dic 2023 · Time. 5pm. A traditional candlelit service of carols and readings for the season of Christmas sung by the world-famous Choir of Magdalen College, Oxford. The services are held in Magdalen’s ancient and beautiful chapel, and both services on 9th & 10th December are identical, featuring old and new carols and traditional Christmas readings.
Magdalen’s Muniment Room . Magdalen’s Muniment Room is one of Britain’s archival wonders. Built in the 1480s, it still houses the College’s collection of over 13,000 medieval charters, dating from around 1110 to the early 16th century, with its fixtures and fittings essentially unchanged for over 540 years.
