Magdalen College (/ ˈ m ɔː d l ɪ n /, MAWD-lin) is a constituent college of the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1458 by William of Waynflete . [6] Today, it is the fourth wealthiest college, with a financial endowment of £332.1 million [7] as of 2019 and one of the strongest academically, setting the record for the highest Norrington Score in 2010 and topping the table twice since then. [8]

Il Magdalene College (pronunciato [ˈmɔːdlɪn]) fu fondato nel 1428 come ostello benedettino prima di essere rifondato nel 1542 come Collegio di Santa Maria Maddalena, facente parte dell'Università di Cambridge.
