2023. Our 2023 leavers celebrated an excellent set of A Level and Pre-U results. The school was delighted to report that 97% of grades were awarded at A*-B, with 85% at A*-A and 46% at A*. In 2017 while teaching Year 3 at Trinity College I was awarded a National Excellence in Teaching award. This was a great honour as I have a real love for life-long learning and I hope to instill the same in my students. As I continue to strive for excellence I feel very grateful to be a part of the Magdalen College Junior School Team.

William Waynflete founder of Magdalen College School, was Provost of Eton (1442–1447), Bishop of Winchester (1447–1486) and Lord Chancellor of England (1456–1460). 20 nov 2022 · MCS’s historic setting in the centre of Oxford is gorgeous, while its sports pitches, known as School Field, are possibly the most picturesque in the country. Founded in 1480 to teach the boy choristers who sung in Magdalen College Chapel, it boasts a secret tunnel that runs from the school to the college, affording choristers speedy passage between the two.
