Biografia. Magnus era il secondogenito di Alberto II di Meclemburgo e della moglie Eufemia di Svezia e Norvegia. Alla morte del fratello Enrico III, nel 1383, gli succedette nel governo del ducato insieme al nipote Alberto . Vita privata. Magnus sposò Elisabetta di Pomerania-Wolgast, figlia di Vratislao VI di Pomerania-Wolgast.

Enrico era figlio di Magnus IIe della moglie Sofia di Pomerania. Alla morte del padre, avvenuta nel 1503, governò nel ducato insieme ai fratelli Albertoed Eric, ed allo zio Baldassarre. Magnus II, Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Güstrow (1441 – 20 November 1503) was duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1477 until his death. Biography. He was the son of Henry IV, Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, and Dorothea of Brandenburg, daughter of Elector Frederick I of Brandenburg.
