Mamoru Oshii is a prolific Japanese film director, television director, and writer. In a career that has so far spanned more than forty years, Oshii has been involved in directing OVAs, feature films, short films, television series, and radio dramas.
Biografia: Mamoru Oshii nasce nel 1951 a Tokyo. Dopo una laurea conseguita alla Tokyo Gakugei Daigaku, inizia a lavorare per la Tatsunoko Production, dove compie il suo esordio come direttore delle animazioni per la serie TV Ippatsu Kanta-kun.
