António, Prior of Crato (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɐ̃ˈtɔniu]; 1531 – 26 August 1595), sometimes called "The Determined", "The Fighter", "The Independentist" or "The Resistant", was a grandson of King Manuel I of Portugal who claimed the Portuguese throne during the 1580 dynastic crisis.
Manuel of Portugal (c. 1568–22 June 1638) was the illegitimate son of António, Prior of Crato, pretender to the Portuguese throne during the 1580 Portuguese succession crisis. He secretly married in 1597 Countess Emilia of Nassau, daughter of William the Silent and Anna of Saxony.

About Emmanuel Antonio de Portugal, Príncipe. Manuel António of Portugal (born 24 February 1600 in Delft; d. 27 October 1666 in Schlagen) was a Portuguese nobleman. He was born as son of Manuel of Portugal and Countess Emilia of Nassau who was a daughter of William the Silent.
