24 apr 2024 · Lambert Simnel’s army led by the Earl of Lincoln, John de la Pole, attacked a royalist army led by the Earl of Oxford at Stoke Field near Newark. The rebels were defeated and the Earl of Lincoln was killed. Lambert Simnel was captured. Henry VII realised that Simnel had been used and set him to work in the royal kitchens.

30 apr 2024 · Margaret was eight months pregnant with her sixth child in 1920 when she underwent mastoid surgery. An infection set in, killing Margaret, at the age of 38, and her unborn child on May 1, 1920, her father’s 70th birthday. Her family along with the Swedish and British public mourned her death greatly.

All have that patina of age that I love so much. I’m currently beavering away… designing and making quilts for my second book with Quiltmania, due for release in 2021. Quilt Tutor.
