Marguerite de Rohan (1617 – 9 April 1684) was a French noblewoman and suo jure Duchess of Rohan. She married Henri de Chabot for love and the couple produced four children. A great heiress, she inherited the duchy (later principality) of Soubise which was given to her daughter Anne.

The House of Rohan ( Breton: Roc'han) is a Breton family of viscounts, later dukes and princes in the French nobility, coming from the locality of Rohan in Brittany. Their line descends from the viscounts of Porhoët and is said to trace back to the legendary Conan Meriadoc.

Il casato di Rohan è un'antica famiglia nobile originaria della Bretagna, divenuta poi tra le più grandi e potenti di Francia . Molti suoi membri ricoprirono importanti ruoli politici ed ecclesiastici, tanto che il titolo di Vescovo di Strasburgo divenne di fatto un titolo ereditario del casato.
