24 nov 2002 · The two members could not play at all, and one of them was impersonating the bass player, Mark Lickley who did all the playing on that album. At any rate, Mark Lickley seems to be a very underated bass player. I really haven't heard much about him, but he seems every bit as talented as Mark King.

The band had three top 10 hits during 1982: the singles "Poison Arrow", "The Look of Love" (both of which were recorded whilst Mark Lickley was still a member of the band), and "All of My Heart". Several high-concept music videos were made, including the long-form spy pastiche "Mantrap" by Julien Temple .

Irritable Drummer Syndrome. ABC evolved from a Sheffield synth group called Vice Versa and, by the time Trevor Horn met them, had settled on a line-up comprising singer Martin Fry, guitarist Mark White, saxophonist Stephen Singleton, drummer David Palmer and bassist Mark Lickley.
