Marlborough College is licensed as a child student sponsor by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) to sponsor pupils who require visas to study in the United Kingdom. Subject to certain requirements being met, the College will issue a ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’ (CAS) reference number to a pupil requiring a visa if they have been offered and accepted a place to study at the College.
Helen worked as a dyslexia assessor and specialist tutor and quickly took on the role of leading the large Learning Support team at Bournemouth and Poole College, supporting an eclectic mix of 16–18-year-olds, university, and mature students. Marlborough College is one of the most prestigious of English co-educational private boarding schools. Originally established in the nineteenth century to educate the sons of clergy, the school became the first of the traditional boys’ schools to admit girls into the sixth form and, whilst boys still outnumber girls, Marlborough is today fully co-educational.
